Not the best, not the worst. Maybe one of the better options for that part of the island, but not the best pizza you’ll have in Italy. Tried to eat there, but they basically said they were full so we couldn’t. We did order for takeaway. If you want to eat there, try to make a reservation.

I’m a tough critic when it comes to pizza. I’ve had great pizza in many different countries and in many different styles. This just didn’t hit the craving like I hoped it would. But like I said, it’s not the worst.

Also - the fries look very unappealing but were surprisingly very good. Probably the silver lining in all of this. The sausage was unappealing and sadly, so...

Walked up a minute after they opened to a long line. Was told they were booked for the evening, but I could make do takeout. I ordered and told it would take an hour for three Margherita pizzas and fries. It ultimately took about an hour and fifteen minutes. Inside, it is swelteringly hot. Probably 29 C or around 85 F. The pizza is the worst I’ve had in Italy so far. I have had better pizza from a gas station before. This didn’t have much flavor. The sauce tasted like something cheap from the grocery store. The prices were fair, though. That was the only redeeming...

Kurz und knapp:sehr gutes Restaurant, hier gab es nichts zu meckern. Das Restaurant ist offensichtlich recht neu, daher gibt es noch nicht so viele Bewertungen. Es hat etwa 40 Plätze. Wir waren früh da und haben ohne Reservierung einen Platz bekommen, das Restaurant füllte sich aber schnell. Aber auch um 20:30 waren noch ein paar Plätze frei. Durch die vielen Gespräche würde es dann etwas laut. Draußen kann man nicht sitzen. Das war uns bei der aktuellen Hitzewelle ganz recht, da sitzt man schöner klimatisiert drinnen. An der Rückwand des Raums befindet sich der Pizzaofen, man kann den Köchen also bei der Arbeit zusehen. Nachtrag 24.7.23: Gerade wird eine Außenterrasse auf der Straße gebaut. Die dürfte in ein paar Tagen fertig sein. Dann kann man auch draußen sitzen. Es gab drei nette Bedienungen. Damit kam es zu keinen Wartezeiten. Die Verständigung auf Englisch war kein Problem. Die Karte ist auch in Italienisch und Englisch. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Es gibt vor allem Pizza , aber auch Steak, Rippchen, Burger und Salat. Ich hatte ein Cuore di Reale, das wird sonst meist Tagliata genannt und ist ein in Scheiben geschnittenes Rindersteak mit Parmesanscheiben und Rucola. Das Steak war auf den Punkt gegrillt und sehr lecker. Wie in Italien üblich kam es ohne weitere Beilagen - die kann man extra bestellen. Meine Frau hatte eine Pizza, die ebenso sehr gut war. Es gibt roten oder weißen Hauswein, der auch gut geschmeckt hat. Die Preise sind etwas günstiger als man in Deutschland für das gleiche Essen bezahlen würde, vor allem Pizza, Wein und Wasser sind deutlich günstiger. Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch mal wiederkommen.
