This was such a lovely surprise. We were treated to an excellent, local meal. There was no menu and that's what made it special. The owner invited us into the kitchen to choose our pasta sauce as our first course. Then it was followed up by salad, local marinated olives, eggplant caponata, fresh young cheeses, and plenty of bread and olive oil. Locale con cucina semplice e genuina. La materia prima è di ottima qualità e si percepisce. Non aspettatevi piatti stravaganti o presentazioni gourmet perché non li troverete, qui badano al sodo. Tagli di carne ottimi (mio figlio ha chiesto il bis della sua cotoletta, ed è molto raro che lo faccia), pasta fatta in casa con ottimi condimenti, grande cortesia ed accoglienza. La particolarità che consiglio di provare è il dolce a base di pesca (IGP di Bivona) farcita con una crema di ricotta. A fine pasto viene lasciata sul tavolo una apprezzatissima bottiglia di Zibibbo (vino dolce) che aiuta a conservare un dolce ricordo. Il servizio è celere e molto cordiale....
