il Bistrotto — Restaurant in Bogliasco

On May 31, 2025, around 17:00, I stopped by the restaurant after noticing one of the staff members writing on their signboard “Ask if we have a table.” Since I had already been wanting to try the place and it was just an hour before opening (they open at 18:00), I politely asked if there might be a spot for that evening at 18:00. The staff member replied rather curtly that they were fully booked. I found this confusing, as the signboard was actively being written at that very moment! Why invite people to inquire if there were no seats available? The staff here was awesome, they made me feel totally welcome. Even though they didn't have the view-side terrace set up this time of year, they let me take my glass of wine over to enjoy the view for a few minutes while I was waiting for my calamari.
