Du Village Ristorante Pizzeria — Restaurant in Borgaro Torinese

It's a nice looking restaurant with very short waiting times (they serve you almost instantly). The tables are so close to each other that you have zero privacy. We could actually hear the chewing sounds of the persons of the table next to us. I ordered a bistecca, which is normally beef, but this one was pork (white meat). Just an ordinary schnitzel for 13 euro! And the meat was partly raw! I mean really raw! Very dangerous of course considering it was pork. I could only eat three quarters of it and told the waitress about the raw meat. She said sorry and charged me 14 euro instead of 13. Never...

Esperienza purtroppo negativa, siamo stati serviti dopo un ora, ci son stati portati i primi piatti e dopo le focacce che avevamo chiesto come antipasto da dividere... Senza neanche chiederci se le volessimo comunque, le focacce erano crude a mio gusto, i primi piatti non mi son piaciuti, il tagliolino all'astice era acqua, non era minimamente amalgamato e non aveva gusto di astice, era pasta con acqua e pomodoro... Davvero terribili, i tagliolini zucchine e gamberi invece erano molto buoni, credo l'unico piatto davvero ben riuscito della mia tavolata. Non siamo riusciti a prendere dolce perché ci è stato chiesto se lo volessimo, dopo aver risposto tra cinque minuti, dopo mezz'ora ancora nessuno ci aveva chiesto cosa volessimo di dolce, quindi siamo andati via senza caffè né dolce. Mi diapisce dover dare questa recensione perché sembra un locale con molti punti di forza... Che evidentemente non vengono sfruttati. Allego la foto dei tagliolini...

Pizzas ordered for the two diner I had were marvelously well cooked. The crew is kindly available and always with smile. For foreigner like I am, lot of Italian family enjoy their diner here: very good sign. As perfection is always ahead, I will not put 5 stars, but if you rest around, it s a must to try it...
