first time in this restaurant, years ago it was a grocery store. honestly I will come back here, the waiting staff who I think was also one of the owners were extremely kind. the menu clearly based on meat and of excellent quality! I decided to try the spaghetti with sausage and puntarelle, and then the fried lamb with artichokes. my daughter started with the prosciutto crudo, and from the first taste it was clearly a handmade and quality product, and then pasta with butter. my wife opted for the artichoke flan and then pappardelle...

The service and selection of steaks was exceptional. I also absolutely adored the pappardelle with duck ragu, and the delightful tartare. The one thing I was not a fan of was the truffle on the starter - even though the shavings were applied generously, they tasted of almost nothing. Ingredient quality can vary in the best of cases, but then I'd recommend to revert to the basics, leave the truffle off and just serve a delicious...

Posto piccolo ma accogliente, dalla vetrina è facile dedurre ciò che di tipico puoi mangiare all'interno. Prosciutti appesi e sfilate di fiorentina. Dalla più grassa alla meno grassa, dalla scottona maremmana alla vacca polacca, spagnola irlandese, dal maschio alla femmina. La cucina offre anche un antipasto nell'attesa, personale assolutamente qualificato giovane e simpatico. Hanno la disponibilità di un breve tour nella loro piccola ma fornita cantina di vini dal più economico al miglior vino italiano o francese che attingono da cantine più o meno rinomate e anche biologiche. Lo chef davanti al banco spiega la qualità della carne la provenienza e la differenza, poi serve al tavolo il taglio crudo scelto e definito il peso...pochi minuti ed è pronta !!!! Accompagnata da patate o verdura, non condita per sentire il gusto vero e poi semmai condirla come meglio si crede. Locale pulito e accessibile con l'auto. Parcheggio a pagamento esterno. A pochi metri dal borgo San Lorenzo fatto di negozietti aperti anche la domenica sera, pieve e un campanile, nei pressi è possibile fare aperitivo.
