When we decided to have lunch at the small town of Borgomanero we couldn't imagine that it would be an unforgettable one thanks to Osteria Rabelot. A very warm friendly place with kind people ready to serve you with delicious dishes. We have tried three dishes, ravioli, pasta cacio e pepe and the gigantic cotoletta Milanese. All were prepared with fresh ingredients, really well cooked and very tasteful. I have never tried such a delicious cotoletta Milanese before and the pasta were among the best I have ever tasted while being in Italy for the last one and a half year. Sono andato con la mia Compagna per cena. Il locale è in una posizione che non ha molto parcheggio ma nelle vicinanze si riesce a trovare. All'esterno vi è una insegna e come si presenta vuole essere una osteria anche se poi risulta curata negli allestimenti e nei piatti, lugogo dove è anche piacevole guardarsi attorno e scoprire alcune particolarità di Borgomanero. Appena entrati siamo stati accolti da un bel locale, semplice ma ben arredato. Il tavolo aveva sedute larghe, una bella tovaglia a quadretti rossi, unico neo, vista poi la qualità delle portate, è avere il tovagliolo di carta alla cena alla sera, motivo delle quattro stelle. Tutte le portate erano abbondanti e ben presentate, particolare anche il portare il tapulone oppure la polenta nei grilletti. Ho preso degli spaghetti alla chitarra con sugo cacio e pepe, una portata più che abbondante e una bella cremina con un gusto di cacio ben presente e nel completto un piatto ricco e gustoso; la mia compagna ha preso una polenta con formaggi fusi servita nel grilletto anche questa abbondante, ho dovuto finirla io con la scarpetta. Per secondo ho preso solo un tapulone, un pò liquido il sughetto perchè mi piace asciutta, ma il gusto e la presentazione sono stati ottimi.
