Il Cinghialetto Summer Edition — Restaurant in Budune/Budoni

The staff was very kind and the place itself is really nice. Big and beautiful garden, music playing and enough tables in the shadow.

Unfortunately the food was really not that satisfying. The chicken wraps were kind of tasteless as well as the caprese. Tomatoes and mozzarelle shouldn’t be fridge cold and also the green tomatoes were very hard and tasted as if they weren’t totally ripe. The other fish dishes that we ordered also weren’t as good as they should be for the price.

Actually all in all it’s a pretty pricy restaurant for those small portions. Unfortunately no...

Io e mio marito siamo da poco in vacanza a Porto Ottiolu, siamo tutti e due amanti buon cibo, quando andiamo in vacanza stiamo molto tempo a scegliere il giusto ristorante dove andare a mangiare. Di solito basiamo la scelta su un mix tra recensioni e foto. Quindi dopo diverse valutazioni abbiamo scelto di fare il nostro primo pasto fuori al Cinghialetto e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e cortesia. Abbiamo preso due aperitivi, uno analcolico e uno alcolico che erano BUONISSIMI e serviti con cura. Poi abbiamo preso dei culargiones fritti sfiziosissimi. Ci hanno portato dei grissini molto buoni, abbiamo preso due secondi ottimi sul serio, una pecora panata e fritta in un letto di gazpacho e una bistecchina. Contorni di verdure eccezionali. Fin qua eravamo veramente entusiasti e ne abbiamo approfittato per prendere dei dolci e con nostro grande stupore abbiamo scoperto che la Seadas ha vinto due forchette del gambero rosso in quanto il formaggio e il miele che viene usato è prodotto direttamente da loro, l'aspettativa quindi era altissima e non ci ha deluso, una delle seadas più buone che ho mangiato in sardegna da 40 anni che vengo. Il dolce di mio marito era fatto con un antico agrume sardo la Pompia e il contrasto con il cioccolato e la croccantezza del biscotto hanno fatto sì che rimanessero veramente estasiati. Torneremo sicuramente prima di ripartire e porteremo con noi anche i miei genitori. Ah un altro bellissimo appunto, uno dei camerieri ha portato da bere al mio cane appena siamo arrivati aprendo una bottiglia d'acqua davanti a noi! La location è deliziosa! Inoltre, qualità prezzo veramente ottima....

Ordered linguine with lobster, it was 800g lobster, paid 80 euro for it but ooooh yummy! Pasta even better, what a simple linguine but exceptional taste! true italian food experience. Staff was great! They were smiling and trying hard with english even though they know very little english but thats okay.

Only thing that really ruined atmosphere for me is endless flow of wasps that are so annoying! . I recommend you visit past 9pm so wasps maybe already a sleep.
