Antico Colle — Restaurant in Buggiano

The place is in a beautiful location on an old square in medieval Colle di Buggiano. We came with my family total of 6 people (been at the place previously a number of times). We ordered antipasti, pizzas and fried chicken. The staff was rude, not attentive and quite honestly dismissive of our concerns especially given the wait times for the delivery of the food. Nothing special with the pizzas, burned edges and little to no condiment (the 4 stagioni was sad). The fried chicken took forever to cook and when delivered was hard and dry. After complaining about the food and the long wait times, the owner indicated that the kitchen was overwhelmed and unable to keep up with the many reservations they had for that night (this was already past 10 PM). A real gem! Family owned and operated, mostly frequented by local residents not tourists, located in the small Village of Colle di Buggiano. Happened to be near the Agriturismo that we were staying but we would seek it out knowing how great it is on so many levels. So good in fact that we went twice during our four nights in the region! The restaurant is small and cozy, very little english spoken here so the communication was great fun. Late night pizza and desert was our first experience. Sono tornata dopo anni in questo ristorante, mio malgrado, in quanto una serata organizzata da altro genitore in occasione di una cena di classe.

Si parte con aperitivo nel locale pub dove i ragazzi hanno cenato con un giropizza e bevuta a 10 € a testa e fino a qui ci sta.

L'organizzatrice della cena, per i genitori, chiede espressamente un menù per tutti uguale, composto da un antipasto toscano e "GIRI PIZZA".

Ceniamo nel ristorante, e abbiamo mangiato bene.Ma il problema non è questo. Adulti n. 9:

Il menù comprende:

4 vassoi di antipasto: due con crostini e due con affettati e due vassoietti piccoli contenenti non so che cosa che non mi è nemmeno arrivato vista la modestissima quantità; 9 pizze che ci ha fatto scegliere, senza specificare che avrebbero avuto un costo diverso, mi domando poi il perchè; 1 fanta, 2 bottiglie d'acqua naturale, 2 di gassata, 1 birra e due caraffe da 1 litro di vino SFUSO.; 9 dolci; 7 caffé.

Il tutto per la MODICA CIFRA DI 35€ A PERSONA alle quali vanno aggiunte le 10 € del figlio.

Rimaniamo tutti allibiti dalla cifra.

Scopriamo poi, nostro malgrado che il "ricchissimo antipasto" è STATO PREZZATO COME 9 ANTIPASTI invece che un antipasto per NOVE; il vino, 1 litro a 9,50 €, le pizze tutte alla carta.

Pertanto non ci è stato fatto il menù richiesto, "GIRO PIZZA" ma un menù decisamente alla carta.

Alla nostra richiesta di chiarimento la ragazza alla cassa ci dice che non aveva CAPITO e che il giro pizza comprende pizze "SEMPLICI" tipo margherita ecc...

Questo è assolutamente FALSO. Ovunque si vada se non è esplicitamente indicato nel menu o dal cameriere, il giropizza può e deve essere fatto con tutte le pizze presenti nel menù.

Comunque per finire, voglio specificare e a onor del vero allego foto, nel ristorante eravamo solo 2 tavolate solo noi nove, gli altri mi pare altrettanto e magicamente il mio scontrino, ultima persona che ha pagato è il numero 4. Solo in due del nostro tavolo hanno chiesto lo scontrino perché evidentemente non si erano accorti che il conto era stato fatto su uno scontrino NON FISCALE.
