La Taverna del Vin Vino — Restaurant in Buggiano

We were visiting Tuscany with a big family group (8). The place was amazing! Very Tuscan, great interior, it felt like home mostly because of the owner - he talked about the food and the place itself with such passion and credibility. The music was also good, typical Italian, old classics. Such a warm experience, we felt like being at someone’s home for dinner. The owner also explained each dish and helped us with the order - which somehow didn’t prevent us from ordering too much;) but we managed to eat it all cause the quality of food was exquisite. Knowing that Tuscany can be pricey we were so surprised we paid so little for so much good food! We would definitely come back to try more and would highly recommend to anyone that wants to experience great food and hospitality!...

Traditional Tuscan fine dining. This restaurant is situated in a beautiful and quiet piazza that used to host the cattle market in the XIX century. The owner of the restaurant and his father bought the building, which used to host the stables and did an amazing job at restoring it! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and cozy. There is a lovely terrace outside that has a few tables. If you make a reservation your table will be waiting for you fully set with the appropriate set of cutlery and dishes (appetizer, salad, main course) and beautiful table decorations. A converted cattle shed at the market place of Buggiano. In my numerous visits here, I think I've pretty much tried the whole menu- nothing disappoints. There is a mixture of Tuscan staples and seasonally inspired dishes, and they are all great. As the name might suggest, they have an excellent selection of wines.
