Rethinking the dining experience! Trattoria delle Zucche offers a choice between a fixed menu and a menu à la carte. Typically a dining experience starts with a physical menu, but here the approach is novel... the waitress reads a fairly long list from an iPad so you've no idea regarding prices, you need to rely on recall and there is no time to linger over all the different dishes and decide on different combinations (also in line with prices) etc.
More greening to the fore! So Covid-19 has actually nudged us towards a new digital reality with technology guiding menu development, which is positive for the environment, but if the digital route is being followed, then at least an online menu with prices should be uploaded on the restaurant's website (which is currently not the case).

Read moreIt was my first time there, it was a Saturday, probably the worst day to go there.
CONS It was too crowded, I don't like places where you don't have space to breath. This was first problem, the place is very nice but you can't book so many people at same time. After this the second problem was the dimension of the tables, we were in 6 at the table and there wasn't the space to lie the plates for the appetizer, it was very uncomfortable. The price, well, if I do a simple matematical count thinking about how many dishes we have ordered, the bill was little bit expensive, but probably because we have shared same dishes.
PRO the quality of the food it's good, fresh well cooked, it's a place to try again (not on Saturday 😁) The have interesting and attractive dishes, and another time I would like to try some others. Not my best experience, but I think that it's a place to give another opportunity and I think that the second time will be a better experience, probably in the spring when you can eat in their...
Read moreI was there with my family and some friends and at first they were quite impolite, probably since we aren't Italian and no one of us speaks Italian. We just kept being nice and polite and that they became quite nice either. Ordering isn't that easy due to the fact that none of the waiters spoke English and they didn't have an English menu either. The food seems to be typical Italian and is quite high-quality. But all in all I probably wouldn't go...
