We recently stumbled across this hidden gem while looking for an early dinner location after a visit to the area. And what a FIND! Nestled amidst the rolling vineyards in a UNESCO-classified valley, Anima offers an exceptional dining experience. The setting alone is a feast for the senses, with its picturesque views and tranquil ambiance that makes you feel a world away. . We had a table overlooking the hills, valleys and the sparkling pools of the adjacent boutique hotel. The service was impeccable, particularly thanks to Simon, whose welcoming and convivial personality truly elevated our day. Simon's wine suggestions were spot on, complementing each dish perfectly and enhancing the overall dining experience. The food at Anima was nothing short of excellent. Every dish was cooked to perfection, showcasing the culinary skills and creativity of the kitchen team. To top it all off, the dessert was divine, a perfect ending to a remarkable meal. We highly recommend Anima for anyone looking to indulge in a memorable dining experience surrounded by natural beauty and exceptional service. Thank you Simon! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again, which won't be soon enough.

I can write a thousand words about the GREAT staff, beautiful sky terrace with a stunning view overlooking the pool and vineyards, the many tasty breakfasts, lunches, aperitivos and dinners during my stay in the hotel - but the feeling can be best described by looking at my favourite pictures. The herb-infused Americano is a must-try if you fancy to sip a cocktail while watching the sunset :-) Please thank again all staff for the good care and pleasant talks, they made me feel home away from home.

Nel cuore della zona UNESCO del Piemonte precisamente a Calamandrana nasce "Anima" Non poteva avere un nome migliore. Un luogo perfetto, incantevole,ideale per un brunch,un aperitivo al tramonto o per una cena rilassante. Un fienile di una Cascina del 18° secolo recuperato sapientemente Legni travi a vista materiale che si sposano perfettamente senza contrastare la splendida vista tra i vigneti e le montagne. Ogni dettaglio non è lasciato al caso. La piscina fà da padrona nella struttura dedicata alla ristorazione. Tavoli e sedie dai colori morbidi si uniscono a questo meraviglioso panorama. Tutto molto sobrio ma con stile. L'offerta ristorativa è molto interessante perché si può spaziare da piatti gourmet sapientemente abbinati esaltandone i sapori delle materie prime senza sconvolgere troppo il sapore della materia prima di qualità. La carta dei vini è ottima. Il personale cordiale gentile. La location in ogni suo aspetto è veramente una carezza per l'Anima.

During my amazing stay at the Almaranto Hotel & Retreat, I had dinner at the Anima Bistro Deluxe. The bistro has a great view to vineyards and the mountains/countryside. Together with the very nice sunset, the atmosphere was just amazing. The staff was very friendly, the offered menus were a wide mix that I had difficulties in deciding what to eat. When I finally made my choice, the served dishes were fresh and very tasty. I enjoyed a very relaxed and casual dinner the ANIMA Bistro Deluxe with good food...
