It has been my good fortune to have discovered Hotel Il Volturino about 8 years ago. This year I've been a guest there twice - February and May/June. On each occasion it becomes increasingly more difficult to say "goodbye" to all the staff there. At this family owned and operated hotel and restaurant the hospitality, warmth and caring is to be commended. The staff is always friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. Mauro Corbisiero, the manager/proprietor has become like family member. He is genuinely an all around great human being. His brother, Gianni, is a superb chef and delights the restaurant patrons with his delectable, traditional specialties of the region. If you have a request, you'll never be turned down.||The hotel is exceptionally clean and the mountain views and setting are ideal for a peaceful, relaxing retreat from the world. It is situated within walking distance to the Main Street and the center of this charming, cobblestoned medieval town. In the summertime there are an abundance of town sponsored entertainment events and festas in the main piazza and there is skiing in the winter.||If you would like to treat yourself to a glimpse of real life in a small, Italian mountain town and experience the incredible warmth of the town's people there is no place better than Hotel...

You'll be treated like royalty without even asking. When you stay at the Vulturino is like being at a family reunion without the obnoxious relatives. The food and the environments...
