I think we must have been incredibly unlucky as the reviews are all fantastic.

Firstly our meals were wrong or had things missing, I know because we had taken photos of the menu to check.

Secondly we asked for water for the dog but we're told it was not possible despite the place listing itself as dog friendly..

Thirdly I ordered a beer and was told they had ran out. No alternative, no beer.

We ordered a coke and a beer mainly because my pregnant wife didn't want to drink and were not even given glasses to drink them from.

There was nothing remotely resembling what any of the reviews were suggesting with regards to food quality it was all incredibly bland.

Must have been the chefs night off.

The views were fantastic and a wonderful sunset, if you drive and have a large car I would walk up from the church.

We're not a pub? Apparently resteraunts don't serve beer now, except you did serve me beer politely.. Just only one, two was a stretch too far.

Apparently sitting outside in the sun in 30+C and politely asking for water for the dog Is too much. I'm totally fine when places don't want dogs but why say you're dog friendly and can't provide even water?

But then you say if we call ahead you will give us a blanket!? Make your mind up I thought you weren't a kennel....

Let me be fair, you did provide a wine glass so we could have drank the coke out of that, or perhaps we were suppose to drink our water up and use that glass, honestly the glass was the least of our worries it's was just surprising given the great reviews and didn't seem very in line with a resteraunt with a tasting menu.

You have great reviews, there must be a reason for that but be humble when the standard...

È veramente da provare! La recensione è lunga ma necessaria.

Abbiamo fatto una gita di un paio di giorni per vedere le cascate delle Marmore ed altri luoghi nei paraggi, siamo arrivate alle Fonti del Clitunno che ormai era ora di pranzo così mi sono messa alla ricerca di un ristorante su Google. Solitamente ci sto le ore a cercare perché sono molto esigente, ma sta volta ho deciso di andare a fortuna! E CHE FORTUNA! Abbiamo fatto il percorso verso il ristorante e già la vista che c'era ci annunciava che sarebbe stato uno spettacolo! Abbiamo ricevuto un'accoglienza che in pochi ci hanno riservato, una gentilissima ragazza che ci ha suggerito di mangiare fuori, per goderci la vista, l'ombra e un po' d'aria! I tavoli all'esterno erano particolarmente belli! Il menù non era da meno! Ma abbiamo deciso di prendere un antipasto, due primi e i dolci ovviamente! L'antipasto nonostante avessimo scelto salumi e formaggi, era qualcosa di speciale! Si vedeva da lontano la qualità dei salumi! Un profumo spettacolare, per non parlare del sapore, in più quel formaggio al miele.. senza parole, ottimo! Poi abbiamo preso entrambe gli strangozzi al tartufo ma quando ce l'hanno portati, oltre al tartufo(vero) che ovviamente ha il suo profumo, si sentiva distintamente il profumo dell'olio e del parmigiano, ma il sapore..? Un delicatissimo incontro di sapori! Siamo rimaste senza parole, non si può descrivere il gusto!! Infine abbiamo preso due dolci diversi: Tiramisù e millefoglie con crema e Nutella. Appena fatti!! Il tiramisù aveva i biscotti ancora caldi e la crema tiepida, un po' rivisitato ma spettacolare! Lo stesso il millefoglie! Ci guardavamo allibite ad ogni boccone! Curato anche l'impiattamento! Oltre la bontà di quello che abbiamo mangiato, la ragazza che ci serviva non ha mai lasciato che l'acqua finisse, visto il caldo di quei giorni credo ci abbia portato almeno 4 brocche di acqua, poi è stata gentilissima con noi! Finito il pranzo(ottimo) andiamo a pagare e un ragazzo (giovanissimo) ci chiede se è andato tutto bene e non abbiamo potuto far altro che complimentarci ! Lo chef era lui, ovviamente! Ed è bravissimo nella sua passione!! Il prezzo che abbiamo pagato è veramente simbolico! Niente a confronto di quello che abbiamo mangiato! Noi possiamo solo fare i complimenti ai ragazzi del ristorante e avvertirli che sicuramente torneremo...
