Ristorante Pizzeria Lido La Perla — Restaurant in Cariati

My judgment is one single star because I can't give less. Tonight I had dinner with my wife in this restaurant and we ordered a pizza and a large seafood "Grande antipasto di mare". The pizza was decent (although nothing exceptional) but the seafood dish was a SHAME and even more shameful was the behavior of the staff when we pointed it out to them. "Grande antipasto di mare" consisted of: a flavorless octopus salad (80% of the entire dish), about 20g of grilled tuna (not fresh) without even salt and oil, a slice of about 5 grams of some kind of carpaccio, a number shrimp in the center of the plate with a sauce that I have not even tasted and a small plate on the side with an octopus tentacle that was already in the main dish, with a piece underneath I think of burrata cheese and some pistachios on top. I have never seen such an indecent antipasto di mare. I pointed it all out to the waiters and returned it to the waiter almost ENTIRELY (I only ate 20 grams of tuna and a forkful of octopus. The waiters told me that none ever complained (but what do people eat at home if this were true?). When I finally went to the cashier to pay and politely reiterated that the appetizer was indecent the waiter pretended not to hear us ( we both speak Italian, my wife is Italian) and they charged us in full for the whole antipasto di mare without even feeling sorry and saying a word about it. We as educated persons paid in full and left speechless, the intention is not to take advantage or whatsoever but to pay for a good service and for an appropriate dinner which clearly it was not the case in this restaurant. Basically the restaurant was just trying to make money. I'm sorry that I couldn't take a picture of the antipasto, at least the photo would have spoken by its own. It's a total shame and I hope this review helps others to not fall in the same trap, there are many other restaurants which we went to and are clearly way above the level of this...

Il mio giudizio e una stella perche non  posso dare di meno. Stasera sono stata a cena con mio marito in questo ristorante e abbiamo ordinato una pizza e un grande antipasto di mare. La pizza era discreta (anche se niente di eccezionale) ma il grande antipasto di mare una cosa VERGOGNOSA e ancora piu

vergognoso il comportamento del personale quando gliel'ho fatto notare. "l'antipasto di mare" era composto da : un'insalata di polpo senza sapore (80% dell'antipasto)  ,circa 20g di tonno (non fresco) alla piastra senza nemmeno sale e olio,un fettina di circa 5 grammi di carpaccio di non so cosa super acetato , un gambero di numero al centro del piatto  con una salsa che  non ho nemmeno assaggiato e un piattino piccolo a parte con un tentacolo del polipo che gia

stava nel piatto principale (?)con sotto un pezzo credo di butrata e dei pistacchi sopra. Non ho mai visto un antipasto di pesce cosi indecente.Ho fatto presente il tutto ai camerieri e ho fatto riportare indietro l'antipasto quasi per INTERO(ho mangiato solo 20 grammi di tonno e una forchettata di polpo. I camerieri mi hanno detto che nessuno si e` mai lamentato (ma cosa si mangiano le persone a casa  se questo fosse vero?). Quando infine sono andata alla cassa per pagare e ho ribadito educatamente che l'antipasto era indecente il cameriere ha fatto finta di non sentire e mi ha fatto pagare per intero tutto l'antipasto senza nemmeno sentirsi dispiaciuto e dire una parola a riguardo.Noi da signori abbiamo pagato per intero e ce ne siamo andati senza parole. Praticamente il ristorante cercava solo di fare cassa.Mi dispiace che non riuscita a fare uno foto dell'antipasto,almeno si sarebbe...

Začneme tím, že personál byl velmi milí a snažili se, jen je problém, že ani jeden z nich neuměl ani slovo anglicky, dále je tu krásný výhled na moře a kvůli tomu dávám 2 hvězdičky. V restauraci jsme byli 2x. Poprvé jsme šli na pizzu, objednali jsme si 4 pizzy, které za tu cenu a na to že jsme v Itálii nestály za nic. Podruhé jsme si dali špagety Carbonara, salát Caprese a plody moře, no a řekneme si na rovinu, můj 8 letý bráška udělá lepší Carbonara, Caprese udělá lepší i můj pes a plody moře docela šly, ale na to že byly za 12€ bych...
