Bar Ristorante Souvenir L'Incanto — Restaurant in Carrara

A small cafe in the middle of the marble mountains around Carrara. The local 'lardo' is a pork fat on bread and it is so tasty 😋! I also tried the local pasta: Testaroli Al Pesto. Everything was delicious, especially when washed down with a glass of beer! The staff were attentive and very helpful describing the food and helping us decide. The fact that we originally stopped just for a coffee but stayed to eat gives you an idea of the selection...a bit limited but everything...

a great little place to stop for food, wine, coffee and to see the Ponti di Vara bridge. You'll see plenty of loaded down trucks and their drivers taking a break, and while not a fancy place, the food is fantastic and the staff welcoming and pleasant. Great wines and atmosphere whether you sit inside or out. Nice rack of sweets and some nice marble souvenirs. I would make it a point to have an appetite ready for this place after you've toured the mines, it will cap off...

If you come here you must try the mouth watering butter/sage ravioli. Smaller portion so add some other courses. One of the better ensalata mistas we’ve had with tons of local veg and the pizza was a brilliant compliment. The only problem was the pizza took over an hour and our 4-yr old grew restless as we were the only other group left in the restaurant alongside a party of 12 which could have had something...
