Edit: the answer provided from the owner proves even more that it is not a recommended place to go eat. We had the appetizer 1h after ordering, maybe I need to take pictures with the time on it?? We are expecting professionalism from a restaurant (and not a diner as you mentioned so well) which did not happen and we can see it as well through the comment. If there is a party and your excuse is that the kitchen is small so you can't keep up with the orders, then inform the clients when they call to book. You recognised that we waited too long when we were there and apologised with the excuse of the kitchen but then have the audacity to reply what you wrote?

Really disappointed by the place. We booked a table for 4 and they did not warn us that there was a celebration and so that there might be delay. We were sat inside, and only another table was also taken from a group of 3. We waited 1h for the appetizers, which was just a plate of cold food, and another hour for pasta for which the sauces were already ready. We wasted more than 2h of our time and didn't want to order a second plate nor a coffee to not risk to wait...

Our lunch was so good here we rearranged our visit to the Val di Comino so that we could eat here again. We own a restaurant in the United States and understand what makes a great experience. The owner serves and oversees everything at lunch. Gracious and thoughtful service, AND the food was perfect. We can not recommend this...

Friends of ours hosted their wedding at Da Alessio on their recently expanded patio. We stayed in their apartments and ate at the restaurant everyday. The food is excellent and the staff is extremely hospitable. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay, eat or host...
