A must visit place in Ischia! Loved the relaxing, chic&casual atmosphere, absolutely excellent service, high quality ingredients and a rich menu for vegetarians too! The owner is a professional young woman who truly believes in her business and in offering a wonderful experience to her clients. The view is spectacular. Some advices for ehm..."difficult" or just demanding people: The little road that goes up to the restaurant is quite narrow, this is how the island is structured and you should get used to it. Grab a taxi if you don't want to walk up the road. The style is a bit bohemian-chic with a specific Mediterranean home-feeling style which includes colourful ceramic plates with small broken bits on the side: this is absolutely fine, this is how they are supposed to look like, trust me! Same goes with cuterley which mimics the good dinner service at the South Italian homes. It is not a Michelin star restaurant but portions are just right and the cooking style is simple but excellent! If you crave for big portions and deep fried food, I would recommend a fancy pizzeria. I absolutely ADORED aubergine meatballs, and their fantastic gnocchi-style dish with courgettes, I highly recommend plates with their own vegetables and the fresh fish too. We called the restaurant to advise them out of courtesy we are going to be 20 min late as driving here was a bit of a challenge.. when we arrived they offered us a table with seats that we didn’t book and without the view.. There were empty seats at the terrace and the owner was adamant that we don’t get the seats with a view even though the restaurant was 50% occupancy. A very kind elderly couple offers us their seats instead as they were leaving… the food was excellent and the service was good.. the staff tried to accommodate us at their best.. the dessert wasn’t...

The ambiente is very nice for a drink. The view is astonishing. The service was good. Nevertheless, the food is crap. They charged 55€ for 1 person, without quality. Zucchini flowers burnt in old and too much oil, and the pasta - which was marketed special - was disappointing. I know what good Italian food means; however, this is not part of it.
