We thoroughly enjoyed our tour at this winery. Pepe, the winemaker and tour host, was clearly passionate about his craft and generously shared his time with us, despite being busy during the peak harvest season. Drawing from over 20 years of experience, he recounted the story of Tommasone, a family-run business spanning four generations.

We were thrilled to sample the underwater wine, a unique specialty that Tommasone is the only winery on the island to produce. It was truly a treat. The wines we tasted were some of the best we've ever had, which felt fitting given Ischia's reputation as one of the birthplaces of wine.

Our tasting was expertly paired with excellent food and accompanied by a beautiful view. The staff thoughtfully accommodated our request for vegetarian options. The parmigiana, in particular, was exceptional - one of the finest I've ever had, and I consider myself a parmigiana enthusiast.

As a parting gift, we received a face cream of genuinely excellent quality. Overall, we felt incredibly welcome, experiencing the warmth of their hospitality and story. We learned a great deal and left feeling satisfied and full.

I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone interested in...

I have visited several wineries from Napa to Portugal’s Douro Valley. This was by far the best wine-tasting I’ve had to date. Giuseppe & Lucia welcomed us into their family’s tradition with warm, open arms. The experience of touring the winery was personal (we were the only ones there) and unique. The view from the tasting area was incredible. We opted for the premium tasting option, and all of the wines that we tasted were DELICIOUS. We even tried one that was aged in an amphora! And Guiseppe gave us full pours of each of the four wines we tasted (not the sips that I’m used to at other wineries). The tasting also came with an incredible home-cooked spread, complete with Ischian meats, cheeses, toasts, and even an eggplant parmesan that was the best I had in Italy. Every time we thought they were done bringing out food more came! We were so full when we left that we canceled our dinner plans after.

All that is to say that if you’re in Ischia — DO NOT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE. You...

A Must-Do Experience in Ischia!

Our tour and tasting at Tommasone Winery was nothing short of extraordinary. Giuseppe, a passionate 4th-generation winemaker, shared the inspiring story of how he rejuvenated his family's vineyards around the island. His deep knowledge and enthusiasm made the entire experience truly special. We were fascinated by the unique process of undersea wine aging and their local version of champagne—it was a rare glimpse into the art of winemaking.

The tastings took place on a stunning terrace with breathtaking sea views, and to our delight, we had the entire place to ourselves for lunch. The intimate, private setting made it feel like a hidden gem. Each wine was paired with delicious cheese and food boards, which elevated the experience even more.

We couldn't recommend this more—it’s an unforgettable experience you simply can’t miss when...

Bare fantastisk oplevelse. Kort rundtur i kælder og på marker, herefter vin med dertilhørende små retter! Det er prisen værd🙏
