Tre Scalini — Restaurant in Caselle Torinese

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Trattoria Tre Scalini! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff were simply brilliant. But the real star of the show was the food - it was truly impressive and exceeded all expectations. I felt like I was dining at a friend's home, surrounded by friendly faces and enjoying a feast. This is what true hospitality is all about, and Trattoria Tre Scalini absolutely nailed it. Absolutely fabulous Trattoria 5 mins drive from the airport. Really tasty food clearly homemade and very popular. Staff really friendly and helped us with a menu translation. Simple menu of the day for €15 a head which included a choice of 2 pastas for the "primi" course, 5 "secondi" options with a side as well. Also included water and wine. Unbelievable value for money given the quality of the food. Went before a flight home and all done within an hour without feeling at all rushed. Book...

A pranzo in 2 Ordiniamo una penna alla buttafuoco è una orecchietta peperoni e salsiccia, In breve tempo arrivano i piatti, porzioni discrete, il parmigiano non viene portato a parte ma richiedono se lo si vuole o meno sulla pasta, e già qui a parer mio la prima nota dolente. Entrambi i piatti a prima vista risultano pallidini e poco conditi, e difatti sia le penne che le orecchiette si presentano scondite ed alquanto scotte; le penne, una sorta di aglio olio e peperoncino mal riuscita mentre le orecchiette presentano un lontanissimo sentore di peperone e la poca salsiccia presente nel piatto è lessa e sciapa.

Seguono i secondi, un arrosto ai funghi ed un bollito con salsa verde, entrambi con ratatouille come contorno. L’arrosto è una singola fettina con sopra tre funghetti, la carne nulla di eccezionale, dei funghi non se ne avverte minimamente il gusto. Il bollito è stata realmente la parte peggiore, cotto in modo corretto, tuttavia privo di sapore alcuno, la carne presenta un gusto ferroso ed un leggero sentore di patata lessa, immangiabile, abbiamo dovuto lasciarlo nel piatto, la salsa verde che lo accompagna non è degna del suo nome, nulla a che vedere con il tradizionale bagnetto verde, mancante di aglio e non presenta alcun gusto se non una punta leggermente acidula. La ratatuille anche qui, un insieme di verdure a cubetti lessate e povere di condimento.
