La Spilleria is a friendly and relaxing place for a pizza and a beer, in a quiet and relaxing context and atmosphere. They have an open space before the entrance, which I like in spring and summer, plus the indoor area, with plenty of seats. I love pizza and always have that when going there (it's a kind of Neapolitan way, with a rich but not excessive border), as it's satisfying but not heavy, but they also offer other plates, like meat, tartare, hamburger, french fries etc. La Spilleria is famous for its home-made and award-winning beer: just ask the waiter for a suggestion, they are competent and happy to help. Ci sono stata per la prima volta di recente per una cena in settimana. L'ambiente dentro è molto informale e particolarmente caotico. Se volete chiacchierare farete fatica a sentirvi e dovrete alzare la voce. Il rischio di uscire col mal di testa c'è. Noi abbiamo preso un antipasto di carne salada molto buono e abbondante (si può tranquillamente dividere in 2/3 persone). Poi in 3 abbiamo preso 3 hamburger diversi con patatine fritte e una persona ha preso la pasta del giorno col pesce spada, pomodorini e olive taggiasche. Il mio hamburger nel complesso mi è piaciuto molto, in particolare il connubio formaggio di capra-cipolla caramellata, davvero squisito. Avrei qualcosa da ridire invece sulla cottura dell'hamburger che mi è sembrata un po' eccessiva e potrebbe aver rovinato parzialmente la carne che non risultava particolarmente succosa né morbida, ma più "gommosa". Tutti, inoltre, concordiamo nel ritenere le patatine troppo molli, seppur il sapore fosse buono. Io che comunque preferisco il morbido al secco le ho trovate davvero troppo "mosce", non so se hanno preso umidità dall'hamburger o cosa ma non erano per niente croccanti. La pasta pare non fosse eccezionale, in particolare proprio il pesce non è piaciuto. I dolci invece sono stati graditi da tutti. Menzione speciale alla panna di accompagnamento al tortino, deliziosa! Anche le birre sono piaciute tutte molto. Il servizio è stato un po' lentino: dopo averci portato l'antipasto, abbiamo dovuto aspettare un'ora prima di ricevere i piatti principali. Il conto abbastanza corretto rispetto a quello che abbiamo mangiato (circa 90€ in 4), in linea con i prezzi attuali che sicuramente non sono bassi 😅 Consiglio se siete amanti della birra e non avete troppe pretese.
