Don’t know why Google says I’m a local guide, I was a visiting tourist. As usual, we found the best spot for dinner on the last night of our stay. I had grilled chicken with delicious cooked greens on top, and my husband had an impressive burger. The house red wine was delicious and the waiter was a charming young man from one of the “stans” who luckily for us was studying English in Cassino. This place belongs to a whole other kind of era/ vibe. There is no fancy stuff here no fake smiles to catch the client no marketing no luxuries. Just good and/fast food beers and friends. Staff working hard and nothing else. Other fancy places around the town which open and close at the time of an heartbeat should humble themselves and learn from these people, who have ran this iconic business from decades and are still standing in the middle of the town like they own it. Consiglio tanto questo bar-ristorante! È stata davvero un ottima scelta fermarci al risto-pub Risciò! Il locale e gli ambienti sono rustici e molto alla mano ma siamo rimasti molto contenti per come abbiamo trascorso il pranzo, abbiamo chiamato per prenotare senza molto preavviso ed eravamo in 8 ma ci hanno detto che non c'erano problemi nonostante l'orario erano oltre le 14:00... Appena arrivati ci hanno fatto subito accomodare al nostro tavolo già preparato poi hanno preso le ordinazioni e nell' attesa ci hanno portato delle ottime bruschette...il servizio di Antonio è stato velocissimo e molto attento a tutte le nostre richieste un cameriere eccezionale! I primi abbondanti e gustosissimi arrivati insieme per tutti e otto così abbiamo mangiato tutti nello stesso momento un attenzione al cliente ottima! La grigliata e gli hamburger fantastici i miei figli erano entusiasti! Dopo una giornata passata al monastero stanchi e affamati il risto-pub Risciò è stato un oasi per noi lo consiglio per una sosta veloce o per un pranzo più calmo! I prezzi sono davvero contenuti per tutto quello preso e ci hanno omaggiato di caffè e liquore...
