Borgo alla Vigna — Restaurant in Castelfiorentino

We visited multiple times and EVERYTHING was molto bené !!! FANTASTICO!!!!!!!! We will make 100% certain to revisit whenever we are able to get back to the region. We would HIGHLY recommend this Borgo to anyone looking for exceptional quality food that was absolutely delicioso, extremely reasonable prices, and a beautifully decorated location with great ambiance and flawlessly clean as well. There isn’t any thing that needs improvement because it is simply perfect!!!

After sunset, the light from the table candles were so soft and romantic! Thank you to all the staff for making our 4/5 night stay in this region even better ! This establishment is suited for young folks on a date, and older couples as well as families of any size including younger children.

My husband and I enjoyed several different entrees during our time there and by ordering different items we were able to share each other’s entrees, enjoying our food in a “family” style and had lots to take away with us for a late night snack or lunch the following day. We visited so much that on our last night’s dinner visit, the chef treated us by comp-ing (gratis) an after meal digestive shot that was PERFECTLY DELIGHTFUL and a very pleasant surprise gesture !!!! There wasn’t anyone working on any of our visits who spoke English real well but since they did have menus in several different languages and didn’t seem to mind our pointing, mimicking, or over infasizing our speech, everything worked out marvelously. By the end of our stay, we felt almost like “regulars” or members of the community/family/neighbors. :-)...

In the exact moment between my girlfriend and I have popped out the question: "Where do we eat?" the sign "Borgo alla Vigna Restaurant" appeared, so we took it as a good sign.

Lovely place, warm welcome and smiley personnel kept the hype up.

The menu was simple, a fine italian regional offer with all the options: fish, veggie and meat.

All delicious from starter to dessert.

The only "meh" note was the waiting time on the dishes, but the flavour...

Ho partecipato recentemente a una celebrazione di diciottesimo compleanno presso il vostro ristorante, un evento organizzato da un mio familiare. Da appassionato di gastronomia e abituale recensore, mi dispiace dover esprimere un feedback meno che positivo. La spesa pro capite, stabilita dal mio familiare, è risultata equa e il menù proposto includeva un aperitivo seguito da due portate principali. Purtroppo, a causa di un ritardo di un’ora, sono arrivato alle 19:00, un’ora prima della conclusione dell’aperitivo prevista per le 20:00. Nonostante ciò, mi è stato comunicato che l’aperitivo era già terminato. Inoltre, durante il servizio del secondo primo piatto, sono stati serviti solamente due ravioli per persona. Avendo trovato il primo piatto non di mio gradimento, ho richiesto una seconda porzione, ma mi è stato servito un solo raviolo. Alla mia richiesta di un ulteriore bis, mi è stato risposto che i ravioli erano contati e le scorte esaurite. In qualità di cliente, mi aspetto che un ristorante, soprattutto in occasione di un evento con oltre 60 invitati, sia adeguatamente preparato con scorte sufficienti per garantire la soddisfazione dei commensali.
