La Piccarda is a fantastic restaurant that our family loves. We found this gem by accident on our return from a visit to Siena. We were staying in the area and drove by on the way to the hotel. We returned that evening for dinner and instantly fell in love with the food, staff, and atmosphere of this quaint Tuscany Pizzeria. We have three children and don’t speak any Italian. Read moreI had the pleasure to eat on more than one occasion at La Piccarda while attending a conference in Sienna.
This is an outstanding restaurant with an excellent set of choices on the menu. The meat (steaks, lamb...) is of excellent quality, and the cooking was of the highest quality. The staff were very friendly and attentive to their clients. I also had the pleasure of meeting Angela who owns and runs the restaurant. She is a most congenial host and ensures all is running smoothly at La Piccarda.
I highly recommend this restaurant for its good food, great wine, great prices, and friendly ambiance. Next time I am in Sienna, I shall be sure to visit...

The Truffle Pasta was also extremely good, surprisingly being one of the only restaurants we visited in Tuscany that did not serve standard "Barilla store bought" style pasta.
I recommend...
