We chose this hotel to accommodate our wedding guests for our daughter's wedding as well as to hold the reception. We are beyond happy with our experience. The staff, especially Nico, went ABOVE and BEYOND to make us feel happy and welcome. I am not kidding when I say he made us feel like family! My husband snapped his ankle and needed care and Nico came to the rescue! The hotel is in a beautiful location, connected to a "spa" hotel next door so you can do a spa day without spending "spa" money on your room. The food was incredible! You will not be disappointed. The Executive Chef, Giovanni, is talented and only puts out the best dishes from his kitchen. All of our guests were amazed by the food as well as how much is served! Nicandro made sure every wedding guest was satisfied and it all went smoothly - which it did. There are modest rooms available for the most part but there are also a handful of "suites" that are not too much more in cost and very lovely. The breakfast is great, the staff (thank you Simona, Erika & Nico especially!) and the grounds have everything you need. If you are an American looking for an Italian wedding (but for an amazing price) then you need look no further. I would go back to LaFonte EVERYTIME I visit Italy now- they are like family.

Managed to find this place on the internet - amazing value and right next door to one of the area's main attractions - The Sanctuary of the Madonna Addolorata. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was of a high standard. The WiFi was a bit weak but not a problem since I have mobile data. Breakfast was included and I had a piece of crostata di amarena (sour cherry pie) which was excellent. And, finally, the people at reception were really helpful. A rare find!

Abbiamo soggiornato venerdì e sabato, stanze ben pulite, hotel carino, posto incantevole. Servizio portineria accoglienti e gentili. Abbiamo cenato nell'hotel aggiungendo il prezzo di mezza pensione. Il personale era intento maggiormente nel servire i clienti esterni alla struttura nel ristorante che mangiavano nella stessa sala degli ospiti hotel. Servizio di sala poco attento,capo sala confusionario, abbiamo mangiato 1 antipasto con bresaola erano 5 fette solo, 1 fettuccine ai funghi non eccelsi mi aspettavo di meglio, buoni nella media, il secondo gli straccetti buoni, il controfiletto di manzo ottimo. Nel tiramisù mentre mangiavo ho trovato un pezzo di carta immerso nel dolce lungo 5 cm, mi stavo strozzando. Ho fatto le mie rimostranze al personale di sala che si è scusato per un errore della cucina. L hotel lo consiglio, rilassante e facilmente raggiungibile. Intorno c'è solo il Santuario della Vergine Addolorata, luogo di culto suggestivo. Sarei voluto rimanere più giorni, ma visto la discriminazione tra clienti dell hotel ed esterni al ristorante, ho rinunciato. Prezzi buoni. Peccato...Nota positiva la colazione molto variegata, personale di sala gentile e professionale.
