Osteria Mocambo — Restaurant in Cattolica

I can only say great things about this place, the people, the atmosphere and the service. I have come to Cattolica for work and went around the seafront only to fine the usual disappointing seaside resort with is cocktail bars (far from typical), pizzerie (are we in Naples????) and other such uninspiring places.

Absolutely amazing steak meal. Wine was excellent as were (complimentary) appetizers and dessert. The steak was properly aged and kept in a special fridge and cooked exactly as requested. Three of us ate 1.5kg and it was the most amazing steak I've ever had. Very nice people running the restaurant. Very friendly and knowledgeable about their food....

CURA DEL DETTAGLIO. Sono stata con il mio ragazzo a cena in via Pascoli, nella nuova via artistica, ed è stata una magnifica scoperta. La location è intima e piena di dettagli artistici, dai quadri all’arredamento. Ci hanno accolto con un entrée offerto da loro e a fine pasto ci hanno offerto una fetta di cocomero e un assaggio di ciambella al cioccolato accompagnato con del vino dolce. Noi abbiamo preso una tartare di manzo con un assaggio di maionese, acciughe e scalogno marinato, un tagliere di salumi, formaggi e verdure, una tagliatella al ragù e rigatoni all’amatriciana. Entrambi i primi avevano un sugo squisito, e anche negli antipasti si è sentito il tocco particolare e caratteristico del ristorante. Il conto a fine serata è sicuramente ragionevole in proporzione alla qualità offerta. A cattolica è sicuramente il miglior ristorante con specialità di carne. Ci torneremo...
