Well I will start off from the bottom line - I loved being there, I would go there again, and Fabrizio and his team are so nice and helpful!!!!||||Fabrizio, the owner, is always there when you need him, and he is truly interested in the guests and what they need. his team is also very helpful - we went to see the animals, and one of the workers was there but he knew no English, nevertheless he did everything he can to help us, he let the kids feed the animals and pet them, he was really nice! the staff in the kitchen let us in and showed us what they made for dinner (which was, by the way, really good!)||The rooms are big and there is enough space with a TV and place to eat and prepare food (at least in our room). The place itself is not new, so don't expect everything to be shiny - we did have some issues with the stove, and the bed was squeaky, but it is a classic Italian house which was great.||Breakfast was good also||The location is very near to all the attraction so that was great, ||Getting there you need to go through an industrial zone, so it seems a bit strange, but when you get to the farm you don't feel or see it, the farm is big enough so you feel in nature... there is also a restaurant which is not touristic (full of locals) virtually 100m from the farm which is both great and inexpensive, and a small place to buy food like 1 minute drive from there (supermarkets are 5 minutes drive...)||||The pool was great, but do note that it is 1.5m deep in the entire pool, so my wife, for example, couldn't stand there (her nose was already in the water...)||||Overall we really enjoyed it and will come again!||||ONE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOTE - If you try to use Apple maps do navigate there, it takes you to the wrong place - it tries to bring you to the wrong end of the farm through a forest - don't do it! use google maps and you will be fine, at no point should you go...
Read moreThank you very much for a fantastic holiday at Azienda Agricola Val del Tasso. Here, Fabrizio and his staff have warmth and attention for everyone, families with children, senior couples, young couples and families with dogs. The rooms and apartments are charming and everything is in order, and if you sit in the small shady and cozy courtyards there, you will be surprised by Fabrizio with a cup of cappuccino and warm home-baked cake. In the restaurant, authentic local dishes are served at the weekend and every day a delicious and varied breakfast with lots of bowls of fresh fruit salads. In the nearby surroundings you will find vineyards, a small playground, a nice pool and lots of space for ball games etc. Finally, the location is very central as for wine tasting/wine shops in both the Bardolino and Valpolicella areas. The cities on the eastern side of Lake Garda and cultural cities such as Verona, Venice and Mantova are close by. For the children, Gardaland, Aquapark, Moviepark and Safaripark are within a radius of max. 20 km. Azienda Agricola Val del Tasso deserves the very best recommendations. Jens and...
Read moreWe stayed here as a family (2 adults , Children 8 & 10) and had a fantastic time. Everything about it was great , the pool, the quite location, the great rustic Italian apartment on a farm but what makes this an outstanding place for us was the food at the restaurant (Lunch and dinner at the weekend) plus Fabrizio and the rest of the staff were so friendly and accommodating....It was the icing on the cake ! During our stay we went out on day trips to Gardaland, lake Garda villages and Mont Baldo but also just strolled through the vineyards, relaxed by the pool or walked along the local Aqueduct. There is a great pizza restaurant that you can walk to just outside the entrance if you don't wish to cook which was also good quality and great service.||||We had to leave at 6:30am for our trip home and Fabrizio was up and made us coffee and gave us some 'Val Del Tasso' olive oil and wished us well on our journey .... a very kind gesture from a great host... We'll be back.||||I would definitely recommend...
