Me and my girlfriend had dinner here and sadly all the spots outside were already reserved. We settled inside and hoped for some decent dinner. I chose meat with a tartufo sauce. It was an extra option but tartufo is always good, right? My girlfriend had a vegetarian pasta. The meat was like a car tire and pretty much flat all the way. I got two of the saddest pieces of 'meat' all drenched in some weird yellow'ish sauce. There was a tartufo flavor but nothing was of any high quality. The fact that I paid extra for something you shouldn't even call meat and a horrible sauce is just sad. The vegetarian pasta my girlfriend had was 'just about fine'. To be honest this has been the worst place we've had dinner during our trip in Italy. If you got the luxury to eat somewhere else. Please do. The owner of the place was pretty much the only person that was able to speak English and was always as stressed as could be. All the tables outside were full but inside it was just us and one other group of four. Either the owner needed more people to serve or he needs to relax because I haven't seen an owner that stressed in a while. Also, if your personnel isn't performing the way you'd like them to. Speak to them afterwards instead of in the middle of service. Apparently they're not able to...
Read moreAn excellent evening spent here. Arrived in the pouring rain to a warm welcome from the owner, who spoke perfect English, and lit a log fire for us. The menu was just what we wanted after a long drive from Austria over a snowy Brenner Pass, with all the classics that weary traveller’s might want. A T-bone steak and Rabbit Stew were both delicious - and perfectly accompanied with local Bardolino wine. Nice atmosphere, attentive service and an ideal menu - all at a very attractive price. Thank you for a perfect evening.
I’m adding a footnote: Please, please Mr Restaurant owner, tell Google when you go on holiday. Four years after my earlier review my wife and I returned so that we could relive our previous experience. But despite Google telling us that you would be open at 9pm, a note on the door announced that you were on holiday until the 24th November. We had wasted our journey - and we’re sad not to experience another wonderful evening. Please do tell Google when you are away - a lot of people rely on...
Read moreEating here was a real pleasure. Service was adequate with the waiters being humorous and quite fast. We managed to get a table on the balcony and while there is a building nearby you still get some beautiful views of the hills and bustling towns nearby. The restaurant itself is rather small but staff will kindly arrange tables for larger groups. The food was very well seasoned and the pasta was masterfully cooked al dente. Parking is easy, with a rather big lot being nearby. I definitely want to return to eat here in the future and recommend this establishment for travelers seeking to enjoy classic Italian food in a...
