Kefalè Restaurant — Restaurant in Cefalù

Staying nearby we saw the sign advertising the hotel and went in 'off the cuff' for dinner. The restaurant didn't open till 6.30pm and we were an hour and a half early. No choice, (sadly...! 😘)but to sit in their garden and make use of their garden bar. It was well worth the wait as we were shown to a lovely table in an alcove, given wonderful service with some wonderful looking and tasting food. The Cusumano wine was undoubtedly the best of all the others we tried, couldn't find it for sale anywhere, but ecstatic to find it on sale in Duty Free...

Food was very well prepared, the menu is mainly seafood and meat but for starter and main course there is a vegetarian option: the pasta alla norma. It was very good, not the regular pasta norma we found everywhere else on the island. This was topped with pistache nuts crumbles.. very tasty!! Staff very helpfull. They have a huge selection of wines, too bad we are not really wine-people, but I bet a wine-enthousiast...

Mehr Schein als Sein.... Es wird mit hochwertigen Speisen und Weinen geworben, beides eine Lüge.... Das essen ist nicht mehr wert, als Fertigfutter für die Mikrowelle, wahrscheinlich ist das schon ein Kompliment für diesen unapettitlichen fraß der uns frecherweise vorgesetzt wurde. Brauner Salat und sauce hollandaise aus der Thomytube oder von wo auch immer.... Das arme Kalb, dass für diese unglaubliche Frechheit von "Essen" um 20 euro ⁶sein Leben lassen musste, bricht mir das Herz... eh fast keine Gäste und trotzdem als Kellner beschäftigt herumlaufen als hätte man den ganzen a.sch voll arbeit, lässt trotzdem den Schein nicht gewahrt bleiben, dass dies einfach...
