Like many people said, these guys are scammers. Charged us 5€ per beer, and put more beers on the invoice than we drank. When we wanted to take another look at the drinks menu because we were sure they scammed us, they told us that they wouldn’t have a menue for drinks… told us we can pay up or he will call „his friend“ the police. Should’ve known that something is wrong there since the restaurant was completely empty on a Friday evening…

Just look at the owner’s aggressive response to the other people leaving bad comments after exposing him of scam pricing. My guess is a lot of positive votes are his friends and neighbors, most of them usually never do leave reviews and this restaurant is definitely not of the kind you would have to write positively about if you never review elsewhere. There are tons of great and reasonably priced restaurants in Italy, and this one is neither and...

We had some doubts based on the google reviews, but those were unneeded. We were staying in a nearby agriturismo and for us this restaurant was the easiest and best option, because we could go to the restaurant on foot. We had two good dinners and the hosts were very friendly. What we liked was that we could already eat around 19:00 o'clock, after a day of hiking we were very hungry in the evening :) The owners are Turkish, not Italian but the chef has been cooking in Italian kitchens for 20 years. I tried pizzoccheri and polenta for the first time...

Ci piace cercare i piccoli ristoranti locali, che spesso ci sorprendono. Questo è stato anche il caso qui, sia in modo positivo che negativo. Il cibo è molto buono, quindi abbiamo deciso di tornarci. Abbiamo scelto un menu con tutto: antipasto, piatto principale, dessert e caffè. Tutto era di nuovo molto buono, ma la seconda volta che siamo andati si sono comportati in modo strano. Non abbiamo potuto pagare con la carta, mentre abbiamo visto che i clienti locali pagavano con la carta. Ci è stato presentato un conto scritto a mano di 100 euro esatti, che era di 29 euro troppo caro secondo la carta del menu. Dopo aver precalcolato il costo totale sul GSM si sono accordati con la somma totale corretta. Peccato che si rovinino la reputazione in questo modo.

We like to seek out small local restaurants, which often pleasantly surprise us. This was also the case here, both in positive and negative ways. The food is very good, so we decided to go back. We chose a menu with everything on it: appetizer, main course, dessert and coffee. Everything was very good again, but the second time we went they were acting weird. We couldn't pay with a card, while we saw that customers from the neighborhood did pay with a card. We got a handwritten bill of exactly 100 euros, which according to the menu was 29 euros too expensive. After a pre-calculation of the total cost on the cell phone, we ended up with the correct total amount. Too bad they ruin their reputation...
