I can say that , it is my favorite restaurant in USSEL . The pole ta is the best! It's our second time to eat in this restaurant and it's my second time to visit Ussel. So I think every time we visit Aosta , we will stop here and Eat! 😘 We ordered 1 menu which has 4 viands ( chicken, salsiccia, beef and coniglio) and a bowl of polenta with cheeses,plater of antipasto with salumi , prociutto, lardo ( which my husband loves it) and I think the other one is bresaola and dessert. An absolutely great home cooked meal in a beautiful setting. You will not leave hungry, even if you take the short walk to the nearby castle afterwards to exercise some of the cheesy polenta away.

Due nostri carissimi amici, in vacanza a Chatillon, ci hanno invitati a pranzo in questo ristorante, ai piedi del castello di Ussel, uno dei tantissimi della Valle d'Aosta. Eravamo in cinque. Abbiamo optato per un menù fisso per tre ed un menù per due. Ci è sembrato più semplice che non mangiare alla carta. Il tagliere iniziale era comune ad entrambi i menù. Salumi e formaggi. Ottimi, il lardo di Arnaud, mocetta, speck, blu d'Aosta ed altro. Qualità buona, quantità giusta, non esagerata. Nel prosieguo ci hanno servito le crespelle, la polenta concia, pollo in umido, coniglio e carbonata. La carne era molto morbida e saporita. Abbiamo finito col dolce. Panna cotta al caramello e strudel. Caffè per chiudere. Non abbiamo preso il vino per non appesantirci. Solo acqua ed una birra alla spina. Il servizio è stato cortese ed efficiente. Il costo direi contenuto. In linea con quanto abbiamo mangiato. Consiglio sicuramente il posto e conto di tornarci se ne avrò l'occasione visto che anche io sono qui in vacanza.
