We were in Pescia and had no idea where to find a good Pizzaria. We found La Piazetta. So glad we did! Owner spoke Spanish, which was wonderful, as we did not speak Italian! The service, the food, all 5 star! We made sure to go back a second night…and would have gone again if we had found them sooner! To top off our Italian experience, the owner provided us with a Lemoncello toast on our way out! This local restaurant is a little gem in the Altopascio area. The staff is just the most friendly people who makes the atmosphere a joy to take part in while the locals come to eat here. The menu ranges from antipasti, pasta dishes, seafood and pizzas - all home made. The house wine is great and local to the area. The desserts are a joy, especially the tiramisu is recommended.
