A Delightful Dining Experience at Alla Bote

Splendid Cuisine: My dining experience at Alla Bote was nothing short of splendid. The highlight of our meal was the Costata, cooked to absolute perfection. Initially, I noticed it was a bit under-salted, but this seems to align with the Italian culinary culture which tends to use less salt. Once we added a bit of salt, the dish transformed into something truly marvelous.

Exceptional Service: The service at Alla Bote deserves a special mention. We were attended by four wonderful staff members, each of whom demonstrated exceptional professionalism and warmth. Their attentive service significantly enhanced our dining experience.

Ambience and quality of food rated 10. Very kind and friendly owner, fabulous setting to be praised. Blonde Hair waitresses don't know or ignore the ABC's of service: moping around, they turn up their noses or secretly giggle mockingly, thinking they aren't noticeable, the result is almost comic. They serve the courses as in prehistory by passing where there is no space or inappropriately serving the courses without respecting criteria in elementary catering courses. They remain staring like condors and forming small discussion groups with cell phones in hand in front of the customers. Some tables lack enough space to operate. It is really weird to see that this situation exists in such a historic place, where the excellent quality of the dishes makes us forget about these problems caused by some members...

Questa non è stata l'unica volta in cui abbiamo cenato qui, in entrambe le occasioni hanno scelto il posto degli amici veneti (due coppie diverse, a distanza di un anno l'una dall'altra). Il fil rouge tra le due volte è stata un "boh". Non si mangia male ma non è nemmeno una di quelle esperienze che restano impresse nella memoria. Ottimo il vino rosso della casa e molto buoni i primi (anche abbondanti). Cottura della carne approssimativa: il sottofiletto di fassona chiesto al sangue è arrivato da medio a ben cotto; due tagliate chieste a medio cottura arrivate da molto al sangue al sangue (erano quattro piatti di carne e hanno azzeccato la cottura di uno su quattro). Menzione a parte per il servizio: dire svogliato e a tratti scortese rispecchia solo in parte la realtà. Anche il proprietario ci ha messo del suo: prima ci ha detto che non effettuavano servizio al bancone (eravamo andati a pagare e abbiamo chiesto quattro amari), poi ci ha fatti allontanare perché non era lì che dovevamo chiacchierare/stazionare (mentre bevevano gli amari).
