2022:” This restaurant was much better 3 years ago. Unfortunately the service and quality has plummeted since the first time we visited. While it is already difficult for non-Europeans to understand/endure the long waiting periods between the separate rounds being served in Tapas-Style here, having to additionally ask for more drinks or eat the next round of food without forks makes for a poor experience. The sad part is that almost all 6x of the different dishes we had were bland, cold and lacking any flavor. This is simply a no-go especially for a expensive dinner for three costing 135€ (with no dessert - even though we were quite hungry after three hours of 2.5 rounds of tapas). There are several larger cities that can't boast such good vegan restaurants. Finding one out here: amazing! We (a group of four) literally ordered the whole menu (12 tapas + 4 desserts) and everything ranged between good and absolutely excellent. Service was not the fastest I've ever seen but very friendly and helpful. Take some time to enjoy this experience - we spent almost three hours. Some people complained about the size of the dishes... Guys, it's tapas. They are supposed to be smaller, so you can have more of them and the price is definitely ok for the creative food and the quality that you get. That being said, some tapas that are not very filling (the tacos for example) would probably benefit from having...

Solitamente non lascio recensioni perché essendo titolare di un ristorante sento come una sorta di "conflitto di interessi". In questo caso però non posso evitare... L'esperienza è stata a dir poco eccellente. Premesso che la quantità di locali che offrono cibo plant-based in tutta la zona del Lago di Garda è a dir poco deprimente e che la qualità è anche peggio (spero che migliori perchè è veramente triste la situazione...), dopo aver provato almeno 3 altri locali nei nostri 3 giorni di permanenza siamo arrivati in questa piccola gemma. Che "siamo arrivati" non è proprio esatto dato che avevamo addocchiato la sua unicità già da alcune ricerche in rete e avevamo stabilito una tappa obbligata. Abbiamo fatto 1h e mezza di strada all'andata e altrettanto al ritorno dal nostro hotel a Sirmione e le nostre aspettative erano altissime. Purtroppo solitamente a questo punto arriva la delusione e invece...l'esperienza è stata perfetta. Non scriverò circa i piatti scelti. Locale e servizio impeccabili, ma neanche questo vuole essere il centro della mia recensione. Mi voglio soffermare sulla scelta di ingredienti di qualità eccellente, sulla presentazione impeccabile e sui sapori accostati in maniera perfetta. Io non credo che molte persone che hanno lasciato altre recensioni che ho letto si rendano conto di quanta preparazione, studio, inventiva e lavoro serva per arrivare a ottenere certi risultati. In tutti i piatti c'è tecnica e precisione, conoscenza del prodotto e nulla è presente nei piatti senza un motivo ben preciso (perfino i pochissimi petali di fiori che molti presunti chef lanciano nei piatti solo per il colore). Dietro alla tastiera tutti diventano critici e presunti chef; gente che pensa di sapere di cucina e si arroga il diritto di dire cavolate. Magari una cosa può piacere più o meno e ci sta esprimere la propria opinione per aiutare gli altri a capire cosa aspettarsi, ma sempre nel rispetto del lavoro altrui, soprattutto se viene fatto con questa passione, e la passione non si può non vedere in ogni singolo particolare. Bravi ragazzi, la prossima volta che torneremo in Italia sicuramente sarete ancora una volta tappa...

Wow wow wow! This was truly an amazing experience. Everything food-wise was meticulously planned, or at least it seemed like it, which absolutely elevated the taste. The menus they had put together also felt very intentional, when we were tasting each others food, it was obvious why they had chosen specific dishes for each menu. Favorites include: the uramaki, cashew burrata, yuzu desert, and basically everything else. Furthermore, the service was great, with the different courses being brought out at a nice pace, where the server was discreetly checking to see how far along we were. 100% worth a detour, and in my opinion, you're absolutely missing out if you don't eat here.

Dining at Officina Verde was an amazing vegan experience! They offer tapas-style dishes and recommend each person having at least 3 dishes. Our meal for three was over €100 excluding drinks, which was quite expensive. The flavors were excellent and the quality of the food was amazing. The sea salt peanut dessert was a revelation, and their vegan burrata was nothing short of perfection. The service was exceptional, attentive, and welcoming. Worth a must-visit for anyone in the area!
