Baita Lovara — Restaurant in Comunità della Paganella

Visit Rifugio La Roda at the top of Paganella for a very good lunch instead of this place…

I sat down and nobody came to serve me. I called the waitress three times and she didn’t react. When someone finally came over, I asked for a pizza. Apparently they don’t have pizza during the summer. So i asked for the menu. After 10 min of waiting someone came to take my order. Food was ok, nothing special. They only provided 1 tiny sachet of cheese, I asked for extra cheese and it never came. When the bill arrived I was charged for two covers, even though I was on my own! Drinks are overpriced (4€ for a litre), water is served in a plastic bottle. I had dogs and despite the heat they did not offer water for them. I am giving my honest opinion about my experience. Pleasant restaurant in a beautiful location with spectacular views.

You can visit the restaurant right on the ski slope. The service is very friendly and pleasant.

On site you can enjoy homemade pizza and many other delicacies or enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature with a glass of Aperol.

The service is very attentive and you get to taste local cheeses and salami with your drinks.

The prices are pretty decent considering the location. We definitely recommend a visit to...

La cameriera bionda è stata gentilissima, purtroppo non posso dire lo stesso della responsabile/proprietaria... di una cafonaggine imbarazzante. La fortuna di queste persone è di avere in gestione un locale che guadagna per forza essendo uno dei pochi presenti sulle piste. Comunque sono spesso ad Andalo in estate e in inverno con vari amici e sicuramente non andremo mai più in questa baita durante una discesa sulle piste. Lo sconsiglio vivamente e mi dispiace per il personale che ci lavora.

Risposta per il proprietario: Buonasera, purtroppo la recensione è riferita a voi. L'episodio riguarda un banale errore della cameriera che la Signora responsabile ha ingigantito facendo una piccola sceneggiata con noi che sinceramente non avevamo responsabilità... credo che davanti ai clienti (alle persone in generale) vada mantenuto un comportamento assolutamente diverso.
