I don't understand the 5 stars reviews. We left frustrated and with a strong feeling that we were robbed. The room was dirty, stains on the sheets, dust and hair on the floor, and the mattress was a nightmare. We woke up with body aches all over because of how hard it was. And it was cold. We were told that they are forced to stop the heating after the 30th of April, but I find it outrageous. If a paying customer complaints about this, you are obliged to make him feel comfortable because HE is the one paying. Madam Grazia, after accusing us of stealing her panninis, when we left she told us that she is sorry we are leaving as we are so nice. This attitude left a bad taste in our mouths. Now the food: breakfast is very poor, no fresh vegetables nor fruits and dinner is basic. Same old "salad bar" with tomatoes, corn and salade russe drowned in mayonnaise and 2 main courses that leave much to be desired. We had an average risotto, a very bad bechamel lasagna that shouldn't even be called lasagna as it does wrong to the real one. The rest is not worth mentioning. The Wellness center is unbearable because of the strong chlorine that makes your eyes hurt after 15 minutes. In the hot sauna we didn't dare to enter as people were in there naked even though a towel was in order. I am sorry that I have nothing good to say about this place, but this is the sad reality. Maybe the Panorama is nice, but the owners had nothing to do with it....
Read moreWe have been going back to this Hotel 2-3 times a year for about 10years! Whenever we go, whatever the time of year the warm welcome is always the same, the Bonvicin Family make you feel you have come "home". The rooms are all very comfortable, all recently upgraded, designed with a local theme, overlooking amazing scenery of the Dolomites. You will never go hunger, the food is plentful, all fresh local products, nothing frozen, cooked in the style of the local area, and very tasty. Breakfast is Buffet style, and you help yourself to how much you would like. They have a super Wellness centre, so dont forget you swimming things! The area is wonderful for walking, etc. and great for those who like photography, painting, sketching etc, or just taking your ease looking at the wonderful views. When we have beenthere we come home rested and refreshed and feeling we have been away forever because of the relaxed, clean, fresh, surroundings. We would say, just go and see...
Read moreI stayed at Hotel Panorama at the end of June 11 for 2 nights. It was a Groupon offer. Very friendly staff. They did their best to make us feel welcome. Our room was nothing special. In need of a renovation for sure (furniture, lamps, paint...). TIny bathroom. Had some troubles with water pressure in the shower (scalding hot vs. freezing cold). Carpets simply needed to be thrown out. Breakfast was ok. No fruits and no yogurt though. They had several pastries and croissants. Juice, milk, tea, coffee, cappuccinos. They very kindly packed our lunch (we went hiking). Dinners were very good. Not much choice, but food was v. fresh. The spa was ok. Sauna, turkish bath, a small gym; swimming pool (small) and a jacuzzi. The location is excellent if you like peace and quiet. No night life at all....
