We eat there for a lunch today. Despite having checked the menu online, when we arrived we were informed that they only offer daily menu today consisting of first course (gambretti), lasagna as pasta (14 eur) and filled paprika as secondi (17 eur). Okay, we ordered lasagna and paprika. Needless to mention that both dishes were already pre-cooked and only pre-heated before serving, so there were no items on menu, which were cooked to order (maybe gambretti with salad), what is a bit strange for a slow food restaurant. While the taste was good, the portions were minuscule. All the time I had a feeling we are in a Greek tavern where you point at already cooked dishes and they warm them for you (despite the setting and nice cutlery). We left hungry, the bread was excellent (the best on our Italy trip this time). The setting on the terrace is beautiful as well, while it may get too hot during the lunch. All in all it was a strange experience: while it seems to be a normal restaurant, their lunch service is significantly reduced at inflationary prices. Maybe they still drive on a hype of Osterie d’Italiy guide? I don’t know but we would rather not...

If you are willing to spend a little more on your meal, then this restaurant will elegantly demonstrate how even in a region full of good places to eat, it is possible to stand out and create something special. Temo abbiano cambiato gestione, perché rispetto a 2 anni fa, in occasione del battesimo di mio figlio prima e del pranzo di anniversario poi, abbiamo mangiato immensamente meglio. In occasione del nostro anniversario di quest'anno abbiamo trovato:

1. un servizio disorganizzato,
2. una carta dei vini plastificata come nemmeno alla tavola calda del porto,
3. qualità discreta.

Avevamo prenotato fuori, ma ci mettono dentro. Passi, non era una bella serata. Stiamo mangiando e ci dicono che "....ora si è liberato il posto fuori. Se volete uscire a mangiare il secondo?". Rifiutiamo e passi. Chiedo un vino nero Piemonte, mi arrivano con un vino Rumeno..... sostenendo che purtroppo hanno poca richiesta e quindi "non abbiamo grande disponibilità.....". Assurdo.... Sì è mangiato discretamente, ma non certo all'altezza di ciò che...
