We read the reviews and thought great. Wasn’t a great start as we walked in and waited to be seated as there was no sign to say wait or sit or anyone to tell us. After a few minutes we went to sit down and got shouted at to wait. So we waited and finally got sat down and given a menu. After a long wait our order was taken. Pizza came out and was nice, but nothing special. Out of the 3 of us 1 loved his, mine was ok and the 3rd left half their pizza. When it came to pay after waiting in a queue, we wanted to pay €15 cash the rest on the card. But the man didn’t want to do the maths and said no. We sat outside on the bench of the pizzeria today. It stated that it is a bench of the pizzeria. The owner came outside and asked us to leave as we were not ordering. There was no one by the way. Till now this is all fine. We went to the other side and sat on a public bench. After 5 minutes the owner saw us sitting there and told that I cannot leave my skis on the ski rack of the restaurant outside (there were no other skis). The guy surely has issues. Our second visit to Passo Tonale and fourth visit to this amazing pizza restaurant. Best pizza I’ve had (apart from my own) and wide variety on menu. Simple and efficient service. As authentic as it gets. A highlight of our ski trips here. Best to drop by at least night before to book a table although u should be able to drop in during ski season. I rarely give reviews but...
