I visited le roi this week with a group of 12 friends, and unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. As meat enthusiasts, we were eager to indulge in the carnivorous delights the menu promised, along with some refreshing salads to complement our meals. However, the reality fell far short of our expectations.

The meat dishes we ordered lacked the flavor and tenderness we anticipated. Whether it was the T bone or the ribeye steak . The meat was very dry and tough, making it a challenge to enjoy the meal fully.

Moreover, the salads we ordered as side dishes didn't fare any better. They lacked freshness and were disappointingly bland. It was evident that the ingredients used were not of the highest quality, and the lack of attention to detail in their preparation was

In conclusion, while the resturant may have potential, it's clear that improvements need to be made, particularly in the execution of their meat and salad offerings. I hope the management takes this feedback constructively to elevate the dining...

I asked about gluten free options - they told me they didn't have gluten free pizza, but had gluten free main dishes and pasta. Ok, sounds great! Was excited to try the pasta. I sit down at the table, ask the waiter for gluten-free pasta, he tells me no problem, looks down to place my order, then suddenly changes his mind and tells me they don't have that. If I had known that before I'd have gone elsewhere, so basically I was lied to. Ordered veal instead, because my companions had already ordered and it was too much hassle to go elsewhere. Taste was ok, but meat was very chewy and not very pleasant to eat. Companions who ordered pizza said it was ok, but that's about it - compared to other Italian pizza they had it was not as good. Booked this for my husbands birthday during our skiing holiday trip to Madonna. We had a great table on the lower floor. Make sure you book as loads of people were being turned away when we arrived. My husband had the Mixed Grill and said it was fab. My son had a very well priced steak @ 30 euros, I had the ravioli and my girls had pizza. All of it came out quickly and was beautifully cooked. Puddings were also delicious. My girls had profiteroles and ice cream sundaes! I will definitely return, only thing I didn’t like was not having a “proper” menu.
