Went for an evening drink. When we arrived we were asked if we wanted to be added to waiting list, as there were no available places. We agreed, and were told we would be next to be seated whenever possible. We ordered some drinks at the bar and waited with our coats on. After some time another couple walked in and after a short wait on a bench they were seated first at a shared table, then at another table. When we told the staff that we were next in line they started raising their voice and were very rude, insisting that the other couple was first, which was completely false, as we had seen them walk in. We ended up leaving the drinks half full on the bar and going to another place, as our mood was already ruined. An attempt to resolve the situation would have been expected when a customer makes a claim. Overall...

Horrible service. Do not go here. We ordered a bottle of wine that smelled so horrible, there was definitely something wrong with it. It was 5 of us and not one of us thought it was okay to drink. We told the waitress and the owner himself said we knew nothing about wine and that even if we did not drink it we had to pay. It was insane, something of that sort had never happened to me before The best part was that the owner wouldn't even smell or try it in front of us. Also, we went there for breakfast prior to this and I am sure I left my goggles there yet they said they didn't "find them". Nice cafe menu. (They also serve lunch, but I came to warm up between meals.) The alcohol list is extensive, the tea list very limited. But they had cream and honey for my tea, so I was happy. The radicchio strudel was good. The decor is traditional Alpine style, heavy and cozy. My only complaint concerns the music, which was indescribably dreadful. It boggles the mind that anyone would think that people coming in to relax and warm up would want dance music, but that’s what we got. It ruined the experience, and is the sole reason for the two stars, as opposed to four stars.
