Rifugio Alpini di Serle — Restaurant in Comunità montana della Valle Sabbia

Gabriela and family run an excellent mountain refuge of a restaurant. The service is really friendly and the food is very, very tasty. I am a vegetarian, and this is a restaurant famous all over the region for their special meat-based dishes. Despite this fact, my request for lacto-ovo vegetarian food was superbly fulfilled with understanding, an ever-present smile and a tasty spread. The pickled vegetables, the pumpkin-filled pasta, the cheese- filled pasta, the salad, the polenta, the bread rolls, the digestivo … all this for €50 for two guests! The young man Isaac (jokes that he is “Isaac Newton”!) took over the operation of the restaurant and is doing a great job with the support of his parents and a hard-working, committed team, everyone obviously loves what they do and how they do it. Non ho parole! Ambiente rustico, tipico del nome che porta. Spiedo superlativo, come non lo mangiavo da tempo, il tipico tradizionale bresciano e oltre a essere buonissimo era anche in porzione abbondante (vedere foto). Vino rosso della casa molto buono. Anche i dolci buoni. Il personale, amichevole, gentile, scherzoso e di chiacchiera. Sono andato a mangiare da solo e ho trovato una tavolata di persone, clienti abituali, con cui mi sono aggregato e fatto amicizia. Un esperienza genuina, c'e pochissima linea internet, quindi ci si concentra sul dialogo e sulla convivialità e non sui cellulari ed è una cosa che mi mancava da tempo. Infine, il prezzo è un prezzo più che umano. Non mi ricordo di essere stato cosi bene a quel prezzo. Inutile dire che ci ritornerò...
