Casa Riz — Restaurant in Cormons

The trip to Slovenian Brda region ended up in Italy. We had a chance to visit a very nice agriturismo place in small place Cormons. The village is very small but very nice, clean and well maintained. We got a nice apartment 200 meters away from the owner's place. The apartment offered everything one needs to spend a night or few nights.||||The owner was very kind and helpful. I event had a chance to recharge my electric car at their place. The place also offers dinner and breakfast. We went to the dinner and it was really good. The warm starter was great risotto with asparagus. The main course for me was mashed potatoes with roast beef. Just excellent. For the dessert, I had a really good tiramisu. We had a nice red house wine with the dinner.||||The village is very small and very peaceful. The buildings are nicely preserved or restored and the life is very laid back here. We stayed in Casa Riz for 1 night and had dinner there. ||The room we stayed in was not fancy but clean and sufficient, big enough to move around. And you´re not here to sit in your room so luxury is not required. AC is available (portable) but we just left the windows open.||||We were welcomed with a glas of wine which was great, went for a walk in the area and had dinner afterwards. The food is very good, let the waiter recommend and you´ll be very happy! The local white wine is fantastic and very cheap, we didn´t try the red. ||||I would recommend this place for one or maximum 2 nights as a base to explore the area, I think it will get boring if you...
