Dangerous! Staff lies about ingredients AND tries to rip you off! We are a vegan family of 5, with 3 allergic little kids. I told them that the kids will have instant allergic reactions if in contact with animal products, they will have trouble BREATHING. I even asked "the boss" Ignazia several times about the dishes we wanted, whether they were really vegan, and made sure and double and triple confirmed that all was vegan. "Tranquillo" she always said, and yes, yes, all vegan... I did not trust her and asked to speak with the kitchen staff directly. She led me there, EXTREMELY annoyed and unfriendly to me, and, surprise surprise, the kitchen staff confirmed my suspiscion: 2 of the dishes we wanted were with eggs and butter! Ignazia did not apologize... we adjusted it accordingly but when the dishes came, we clearly tasted fish in one of them! The server double checked in the kitchen and we were lied to YET AGAIN, they told us it was vegan. We refused to eat it, stating again that the fish is even TASTEABLE and sent it back. Only after this the only decent person in there, a young nice staff member and the only one speaking English, came and said it is true, there really WAS fish in it. Ignazia never apologized or made up in any other way to us. Everyone was extremely rude. At the end, the check had also 20USD of wine on it... but we had never ordered wine at all! When I showed the mistake, they took the 20USD off but ADDED 1 glass of wine of 4USD. This had to be corrected yet anew, and everyone behaved annoyed and unapologetic. They were angry they got caught in trying to rip us off AND poisoning us and our little kids! Next time I would report them to the police. Do never...
Read moreThis restaurant is definitely something special hidden in the south of Sardegna. The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant are cosy and really taken care of. Once you enter you realise that is run by a family who loves doing this since years. The fish is fresh, the portions are generous and the taste of everything was with no doubt outstanding. They know how to enhance the proximity products, as the fish. I can highly recommend the spaghetti with lobster and the ravioli. The fish of the day is also always a good option. It will be served in front of you by a waiter/waitress who will leave it perfectly ready to eat with perfect skills. However, make sure you call in advance to make a reservation, since they get full really quickly. Also, if you want to seat on their terrace practically on the beach, be aware to make a reservation at least 10 in advance during summer. The relation quality-price is also fair. Can just recommend...
Read moreWe booked for 9pm a week in advanced however when we got there we were told our booking was for 8pm and our table had been given to someone else. We had to wait to get a table which was quite annoying however it only took 5 minutes. Apart from this issue we were very happy with everything overall. The service was great, the menu is full of great seafood choices. We had the fritto misto as starter and then spaghetti alle vongole (delicious). As dessert we tried the regional Seada (a fried pastry filled with pecorino and covered with honey) and it was so good! We did have a bit of a problem with the flies next to our table - as it was night the was basically a nest of flies around a light bulb next to our table and it was a bit disgusting, but maybe this time they just forgot to close the blinder that prevents this from happening. Overall great experience, not to mention the amazing location, just next to...
