Bar Pizzeria Cossu — Restaurant in Domus De Maria

Very rustic outdoor pizzeria. Pizza was good, thin, well cooked and with a good amount of toppings. Probably the cheapest pizza I have had in a while. €5 for a margherita is insane! My only criticism is that they were very short staffed and it took almost 20 minutes for someone to approach us with the menu and another 10 before they came back to take the order. Another 30 minutes to get 2 pizzas. Couldn’t get another drink, couldn’t get the bill even though we asked; we got tired of waiting and just went to the till and told her the table number and paid there. Two pizzas, a beer , a Coca Cola and a bottle of water €28....

We arrived at a time slightly before the resteraunt began to get busy without booking and the nice staff found us a spot right in the garden. The garden is very nice and the atmosphere is great. The waiters are very nice and friendly and our pizzas arrived in around 15 minutes, which was great as we were in a rush. The pizzas were great, the dough was perfect and the toppings too. Trattamento scorretto. Peccato perché siamo stati seguiti da una cameriera gentilissima e disponibile. Ho ordinato una bistecca di cavallo da 20€ che purtroppo era completamente piena di nervi tanto da non poter essere mangiata.come da mia richiesta la cottura era giusta ed al sangue, ma proprio non masticabile. Passato l’appetito, ho consumato solo le patate e non ho protestato, ma ovviamente quando la ragazza è arrivata a sparecchiare gliel’ho fatto presente, dal momento che era più che visibile che la bistecca era ancora tutta nel piatto. Al tavolo mi è stato risposto che “può capitare”, pensavo ingenuamente che poi avesse riferito alla collega alla cassa, ma al momento di pagare non hanno battuto ciglio, pertanto l’ho gentilmente rifatto presente. Non tanto per i 20€, ma più che altro per correttezza da parte dei gestori che avrebbero dovuto non addebitare il costo di una pietanza non consumata per colpa loro. La signora alla cassa ha ribadito che “ può capitare” e si è limitata ad offrirci degli amari che abbiamo rifiutato, mentre abbiamo pagato per intero il conto con la bistecca non buona e non mangiata.
