We were in a hurry to get down to check in at the hotel before 18 o’clock so such a pity we only had time for a drink but not for food. It was worth a hike up there, the view is breathtaking…. could stay here all day. We took the bus from St. Magdalena up to Zans parking and then took the trail number 36. This trail takes about 1 hour 40 minutes (we did it in 1 and 20) to Geisleralm. I think this trail is better than the 34 (this we took as the way down). Read moreWhat an amazing place! Kitchen opened at 11 on Sunday. We tried their hearty south tyrolian beef goulash and polenta for the first time. A bit salty but probably needed after a long hike. Portions are generous! Vegetable soup was very well made.
