Our group of four arrived to the area late on a Monday afternoon. After checking into our hotel, we struggled to find a restaurant that was still open. We called Turmwurt and reserved a table for four at 8:00. We're so glad that we did because the food, service, and atmosphere were all so wonderful! Highly recommend for authentic local cuisine. They're closed on Tuesdays...

Fantastic food and very relaxing atmosphere. Excellent value for money even it it's not one of the cheaper places to eat. Meals are lovingly prepared and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. Waren mit 6 Personen zum Abendessen um 1900 Das Ambiente ist klassisch Südtirol aber sehr nett, ob es Strohblumen am Tisch braucht ? Aperitif sehr sehr gut , 6 Vorspeise wie wir es erwartet haben alles bestens. Dann kam der Hauptgang Leider sehr enttäuschend der Hirsch kam kalt am Tisch , das kann alles passieren der Garpunkt war perfekt Geschmack der Soße und der frittierten Kartoffellgnochi echt perfekt. Die Spalten zum Rindersteak ( Tages Spezial ) extrem versalzen, wurden sofort ersetzt. Leider kompletter Ausfall des Service, Hauptspeise um 20:00 nicht mehr ersetzbar ? Es wurden Rinderbacken angeboten , alles andere sei nicht mehr vorrätig ??? Eher Unglaubwürdig… Egal 3 Personen ohne Hauptspeise , so weit so gut dann aber der Gipfel der Frechheit, die kalten Gerichte wurden nicht von der Rechnung genommen dafür gab es als Entschuldigung eine Sorbet ???? sorry bei 60€ p.P für nur Vorspeise muss da deutlich mehr kommen. Es kann immer was in der Küche passieren aber das muss der Service mit einem Lächeln und daraus resultierenden guten willen weg lächeln. 2 Gabel von Fallstaff wohl nur...
