Pizzeria Bella Napoli — Restaurant in Empoli

Found this restaurant on HappyCow, stating they had a separate vegan menu. And, they sure did! Quite some locals dining there too, and the food was amazing! I had a great vegan calzone with red onions and mushrooms, and the service was great. Very friendly waitress and the proprietor even offered us some free limoncello at the end! Very cosy restaurant with friendly service and a nice authentic athmosphere. Food was very tasty and extra plus that there is a full vegan menu with plantbased alternatives for mozzarella and parmesan etc.! Fair prices for good and well sized food :)...

Pizzeria dal look tipicamente napoletano. Le pizze sono con ingredienti tradizionali e alcune si denota un tentativo di creare delle pizze "due punto zero". Pe quanto riguarda l'impasto, mi è sembrato un compromesso tra l'impasto napoletano e quello che più facilmente si trova al nord o in Sicilia. Il bordo non era sufficientemente alto e arioso, forse per qualche recondito problema di lievitazione, l'impasto troppo freddo, idratazione insufficiente o ancora una lievitazione troppo corta. Le pizze non sono troppo grandi (25 cm ca.) Gli ingredienti sono freschi, buone anche le combinazioni. In complesso la pizza è abbastanza buona. Bisognerebbe ritornarci per vedere se il problema dell'impasto o del bordo arioso sussiste. Simpatica e apprezzata l'offerta del limoncino...
