Ristorante pizzeria Charly 2 — Restaurant in Falerna

Lively rustic style pizzeria in centre of falerna marina serving good portions of delicious wood fired pizza. Has a nice informal friendly vibe and an attractive bar in front but they don't start the oven for the pizza till after 7 pm so no point going for early dinner! We returned to pizzeria charly again last night after 4 years and are pleased to say that it is just as warm and welcoming as last time if not more so! The pizzas were fabulous and the choice of toppings were great and of course the smoky taste of a wood fired pizza is unforgettable ! The restaurant area is very tastefully decorated with pretty gingham curtains and clean and comfortable seating,more like a trattoria than a pizzeria which usually are more functional in Italy! The owner speaks English and had a cordial conversation as we left on a stormy night having had a really good meal, well done Pizzeria Charly! We will be back! Semplicemente ridicoli, la ristorazione si sa non è per tutti e di sicuro non fa per loro. Ok che è un posto sul mare ma come tanti altri ristoranti in zona dovrebbero adeguarsi alle principali regole della buona EDUCAZIONE. Cena pre 21.15, Tavolo da 9 persone più 2 bambine (4 e 2 anni), abbiamo ordinato 7 pizze 2 antipasti e 2 margherite per le bambine, abbiamo chiesto se era possibile far preparare le due pizze per le bimbe in modo da poter almeno loro cenare in tempi brevi (come fanno tanti altri posti essendo due piccoline). Alle ore 22 non vedendo arrivare appunto le pizze baby abbiamo iniziato a chiedere e ci hanno detto di aspettare, ore 22.15 idem e abbiamo fatto notare che eravamo lì da un ora e un altro tavolo arrivato 10 min dopo stava già cenando, ore 22.30 iniziamo veramente a innervosirci qndi facciamo presente al cameriere se cmq era possibile far mangiare le due bambine con le margherite o no, la sua risposta è stata: non posso dire ai pizzaioli di fare le pizze per prima perché sono già nervosi 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️, sollecitiamo anche dal proprietario in cassa che ci risponde che bisogna avere pazienza(dopo un ora e 15 di attesa per delle pizze, neanche se dovevano preparare risotti a gogò🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️).incazzati decidiamo di attendere con le bambine ovviamente affamate. Ore 22.45 risollecitiamo e ancora il proprietario voleva anche aver ragione che dopo bene 1h e mezza non era uscito nulla x il nostro tavolo, se non poi Avvenire il miracolo ben 10 minuti dopo facendo arrivare finalmente le pizze che aggiungo di una qualità pessima, dure ai bordi, una capricciosa dove gli ingredienti si vedevano essere buttati li ad minkiam, alcune arrivate al tavolo tagliate altre(guarda caso quelle di chi si è lamentato) ancora da tagliare. Mangiamo in fretta per uscire da tutto ciò, dicendo al momento del conto al proprietario che ok la sala piena, ma ORGANIZZAZIONE ED EDUCAZIONE sono le prime regole non solo della scuola alberghiera ma della vita. Ovviamente non consiglio assolutamente questo posto, ci sono tanti locali nella zona quindi evitatelo, anche perché la pizza non è un qualcosa di così buono che vale la pena attendere tutto il tempo, se vi piace l'arroganza andate pure. This restaurant is literally right on the sea, and if you book a table outside around 7:30pm you’ll enjoy a perfect sunset while dining. I’ve been coming here every summer holiday, and the food has never disappointed me. The fresh fish dishes are always excellent, and the stone-baked pizza is a must-try.

We recently celebrated the 15th of August bank holiday here with my family, enjoying a special set menu at €55 per person. It included six delicious fish courses, dessert, and drinks—great value for the quality.
