Alloro Ristorante in Abbazia — Restaurant in Ferentillo

We had our wedding this June at the abbazia and Alloro Restaurant was our catering. Let me tell you this food is SO SO good! The restaurant uses the same staff and kitchen for their day to day dining as well as events, so you are getting the same consistant quality and level of care. Christina who manages the restaurant was also our coordinator for the wedding, and she is amazing! They are very accommodating to the varying dietary restrictions of our guests (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, other allergies), and came up with delicious alternatives. Their menu is seasonal, and uses local ingredients. While staying there for the wedding, we ate at the restaurant every night, including having a welcome dinner there (pizza party). Private Cooking Class!

We visited as a group of 4 for a private cooking class. The setting is absolutely breathtaking! The class was great fun and an excellent experience. Making pastas, tiramisu and a pork loin dish. They really took the time to allow you to get to grips with it all. Working with your own ingredients. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We didn’t feel rushed and for what was booked as a 3 hour class, we were there for over 5 hours.

This place and the people are incredible! We did a cooking course here, which was so much fun. They had a wedding happening that day, but they were still so attentive and friendly towards us and nothing felt too much. We stayed for hours, and we felt so welcome. The setting is stunning, and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and we can’t wait to visit again...
