Pollicino — Restaurant in Fiesole

Pollicino is superb. The gentleman Dorian, Ardit, and Pesi made our vacation in il Girone wonderful. Girone does not cater to many tourists, but we were greeted and treated like a local. The hot deli food, awesome pizza and service was greatly appreciated. There circle park with tables, and space for all was a great bonus and appeared to be a town favorite. Kids birthday parties, friends and family hanging out over great food, cold beer, strong cocktails, smooth wine. Nothing could be better. Thanks again for making are week long stay a special memory. My daughter wishes every place had a ping pong table and playground! Thank you sirs!...

This place is awesome! A very good pizza, antipasti, pasta and other delicious things from panini to grilled meat. They have a beautiful garden to eat, just simple benches, chairs and tables but with olive trees and shade in the midday sun. Just perfect and they have a delivery service too! Ieri sera per la prima volta dopo tre mesi di clausura sono stato nel giardino gestito da questo locale, ottimo per ritrovarsi in queste occasioni, visto tutto lo spazio a disposizione! Anche se c'era tanta gente nell'insieme è andato tutto bene, le persone aspettavano il proprio turno rispettose delle norme vigenti in questo periodo, con giusta distanza e mascherine, cosa che a mio dispiacere non ho notato nell personale di questa gastronomia, mascherine sì...Ma APPESE al collo!! Capisco chenche è sempre facile tenerle ma facendo così si butta via non solo tutto il lavoro fatto da miglia di ristoratori che si sono battuti per aprire le proprie strutture, ma anche si crea sfiducia nelle persone che vorrebbero uscire la serata ma in sicurezza! dopo che ho visto il personale senza mascherine..la prossima volta sarò più attento nella scelta...
