We have been to many restaurants in Italy and can honestly say this was one of the best meals and evenings we have experienced. The restaurant was very busy but made the effort to accommodate us even though we did not have a reservation. Everyone was friendly and made you feel welcome even though we are obviously not locals. They started us off with a sample of their sparkling rose which was very good. The bread and olive oil were amazing! We had the lamb chops, a grilled fillet of beef, mixed salad and roasted potatoes. Each one was superb. The red house wine was perfect. Dolce again was delicious. You will not have a better meal anywhere, not even in Florence. It is easy to see why the place was full. I can’t say enough positive about the place from the hostess, the servers and the food. All were top notch. If I am ever fortunate enough to pass through this area again I would make reservations for...
Read moreWe returned here for an evening meal while visiting the area on holidays in July 2023. Just like our previous visit in 2019, the experience was excellent. The pasta and steak dishes which we ordered were all absolutely fantastic. Everything about this place is excellent. Highly recommend that you eat here!

The restaraunt was full when we visited mostly with what appeared to be locals so clearly we were not the only ones who think this is an excellent...
Read moreWe had an unforgettable dinner at Osteria De’ Medici. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and authentically Tuscan. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the food… absolutely outstanding.
We started with the tagliere of local cured meats and cheeses — generous and full of flavor. The pasta was perfectly cooked and full of rich, homemade flavor, and the tagliata di manzo was one of the best steaks I’ve had in Italy: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and served with care.
To finish, the house-made mascarpone cream with chocolate crumble was light and creamy — the perfect end to a perfect meal.
Everything, from the quality of the ingredients to the cozy setting, made us feel like we were experiencing true Tuscan hospitality. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area — I’d go back...
